I had the amazing opportunity to attend a physiotherapy-focused camp in Portugal, and it was an unforgettable experience. Each morning started with a breakfast, followed by insightful classes that were both engaging and informative. The atmosphere was incredibly warm and welcoming, and I quickly made friends with people from all around the world. After class, we often headed out for surf sessions, which were a lot of fun. Although the wind wasn’t always ideal for surfing, we made the most of it by exploring the beautiful city and enjoying great times together. It was truly the perfect balance of learning, relaxation, and adventure!

This was one of the best experiences I have had in my career, and I cannot wait for the next course in Lombok. The course was spread over 4 days, which felt more manageable than the average 9-5 weekend course. It was thorough, with an excellent mix of theory and practical to keep sessions engaging. The surf lessons were sick! They are beginner-friendly and I was excited to see my surf skills progress. My favourite part was spending time with other physios from around the world in a fun, low-pressure environment. I would highly recommend this to musculoskeletal therapists of all types and all levels of experience, provided they enjoy (tax deductible!) travel, surfing, amazing food, and great company. I won’t forget this experience any time soon.

Everything was perfectly organised and i have nothing to complain about. Don’t hesitate to book one of the offered camps. It’s worth it

The physio surf camp in Portugal was a fantastic opportunity to meet other practitioners in a relaxed environment which made engaging with the theory all the easier and enjoyable! The food, learning material, surfing and general atmosphere was brilliant with enough time to relax and enjoy Portugal. Being very new to the industry I was not intimidated by the content of the course and the whole experience was fantastic. Highly recommend for a well organised and fun time in the sun!

The Surfing Camp in Caparica was amazing! Looking back at it, it’s definitely one of the best experiences I had lately. We had plenty of fun and learned from the best – Ian Gattman about shoulders pain management. The knowledge he shared with us, is making such a difference in my practice. And imagine besides the course we had enough time to learn surfing, chill at the swimming pool, party a little or just chatting with the group.
Nils went the extra mile throughout our staying to ensure everyone is engaging and having a good time. A big thank you from me Nils!
Get your ticket and go enjoy this camp!

I just love to think back at that time in Portugal at Physio Surf Camp. Its such a great way further educate yourself while having a great time with international teachers and students. It is such a gift to discuss things in the group and see how things work out differntly in different countries – really opened my eyes. I also made some good friends which im still in contact. The surfing is so much fun, and the guys from the surf school are excellent surf teachers. Thank you Nils for creating such special events!

I attended the first surf camp in Portugal and had a great time. The combination of surfing and learning felt great to me and the overall vibe from everyone attending the course was really nice. I, as many others, went there solo and it was no problem getting to know people from around the world I can only recommend you to hit that order button if you’re hesitant on whether to attend or not
