Physio Running Camp Kenya 2027
“My name is Samo. I'm a sports physio from Slovenia. I had a really nice time with Physio Running Camp Kenya here. The stuff was very friendly, the organisation was perfect and the the pacers were very, very fast so we had a really good time. I highly advise it. Join and have fun with the Kenyan runners.”
– Samo“My name is Gabriela from the Czech Republic and I joined the Physio Running Camp Kenya located in Kenya in Iten. It was an amazing experience. We've run with sunrise, we've learned a lot about Physio content, about how to rehabilitate running injuries. From Hugo, the owner of Kenya Camp, we learned about training principles, about how to become a good athlete and how to train a good athlete. I cannot say anything bad about this week. This was a great way to learn. I've met amazing people and I would only recommend it. I hope to be back myself.”
– Gabriela“I am Merlin. I'm from Belgium. I came here last week to the Physio Running Camp Kenya and it has been an amazing experience. I learned a lot, about Kenya, about the Kalenjin's, about Iten about the entire history of running and and how they train the athletes here and how they become so good here compared to us like in Belgium or Europe, the experience was amazing. The food was really good. I mean every day I ate so well. It's really rare to eat so good on on a holiday. The running with the pacers was incredible. They were so friendly. They were always laughing, always making jokes. And they were telling about their lives. It was really fun engaging with them and engaging with the staff. And everybody was always friendly, really nice experience. Well, I would say come to company then because it's wonderful.”

- How to analyse running technique using contemporary video analysis and sensor-based technology to identify patterns that contribute to injury or limit performance.
- Footwear selection and management, including how shoe choice influences running mechanics, loading patterns, and performance.
- Clinical frameworks for managing common running injuries, including calf and Achilles pain, medial tibial stress syndrome, anterior knee pain, and hamstring tendinopathy.

For a recreational runner like me, I felt fit, strong and motivated. Physically and mentally. This camp was my highlight for 2024!
yves (verified owner) –
I’m running since more than 40 years, ran over 40 marathons and countless other races, but this was one of my best running experience ever! And that means a lot! No words strong enough to describe it, you have to feel it, you have to live it, you have to run it!
But it’s not only about running. It’s also about interacting with other physios from all over the world.
All together, a great experience.
Wouter (verified owner) –
My expectations were high when I signed up for the physio running camp. 2 days in and all expectations were already completely blown out of the water.
We had the chance to run and talk with world class athletes, got to run on magnificent roads and trails. The opportunity to interact with physios from all over the world is priceless and that’s not even mentioning Aidan’s running injury seminars which are indispensable for any physio dealing with injured runners.
Without a doubt my highlight of the year!
Surkh (verified owner) –
This was definitely one of the greatest experiences of my life. I got to meet some amazing people during my time in Kenya from my fellow physios, the instructors, the athletes, and the local Kenyans.
As an avid runner and a physio, this trip was everything I could have hoped for. We had the chance to train where some of the greatest runners train, learn alot the local culture, and learn from some of the best in Aiden and Hugo on dealing with running injuries and training.
It was an amazing experience, and one I hope to go to again!

I had high expectations for the running camp but the whole experience was on another level! Brilliantly organised with a great mix of cultural activities, time to explore to local village, well design seminars and of course, lots running. I would highly recommend to any runner looking to increase their knowledge around running and injuries whilst having an experience of a life time!
Martins (verified owner) –
I took me a while to decide if I should go to this camp. And now I have no regrets because it was awesome! I loved it because not only you will have chance to gain new knowledge how to treat injuries related to running, enjoy running with local runners, but also learn more about Kenyan culture. I enjoyed it, and definitely it was once in lifetime experience.

I had the most amazing time at the Physio Running Camp in Kenya. It was well organised and a perfect mix of running, learning and culture. I attended as a student physiotherapist and learnt so much about how to assess and treat running injuries. I particularly enjoyed the practical element to the teaching. It was also really interesting to learn about how the elites train during the running seminars and from the athletes themselves!
Patrick (verified owner) –
This was one of my most memorable trips ever! Nils, Hugo, and Aidan did an incredible job planning this Physio running camp in Kenya. Not only was it filled with valuable running knowledge, but the cultural experience was a major highlight. I really enjoyed meeting the local people who were so warm and friendly. The tips and information I learned helped prepare me for my first road marathon which qualified me for the Boston marathon. I also found it helpful prepare me for 3 ultramarathons that I ran later in the summer. I’m so grateful for my time in Kenya and I would give this 10 stars if I could!
